The Little Green World | Navikru Eco Foundation provided me with an exceptional learning opportunity, offering a perfect balance of independence and guidance. The organization consistently provided valuable support, tailoring it to the project’s needs and all involved parties. This environment allowed me to explore new avenues for contributing to the project, thereby enriching my overall experience. Furthermore, the organization enabled me to play a role in The Himalayan Cleanup program, which aims to drive tangible change for a brighter future.

It was a enriching experience overall, where I was able to understand the demand and challanges of a growing organization in a niche field of environment and education. The manager was understanding and communicated clearly on the requirements from the role and gave constructive feedback to progress and finalize the assignments of the volunteering program. The team members were lively, welcoming and open for productive interactions during the tenure.

I had a great experience volunteering with Navikru Eco Foundation. Being in Ladakh and working with the school children about the currently concering issues like environmental education is very relevant and meaningful. During my tenure with Navikru Eco Foundation, I have mostly worked with Preeti, who is also the founder of the organization. Working with her closely helped me to see the complexities of doing projects in Ladakh and closely witnessed dealing the challenges in running a Ngo that pop up on day to basis. But from a different view, they give space to understand and learn many things. My only feedback would be to carefully analyse the climate conditions and how feseable one is to live and work in such environment. The communication from the organization was very timely and its expected to be the same with the volunteers as well for the smooth functioning of the organization. Overall it was a wonderful experience working with Navikru Eco Foundation.

During my social work internship with Navikru Eco Foundation, I had an enriching and positive experience. The work processes were clearly outlined from the start, and tasks were manageable. The team is supportive and responsive, addressing any questions or queries I had. I am deeply inspired by the work Navikru does. Their commitment to creating meaningful social change through in such a remote place is truly commendable. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to Navikru’s mission and look forward to carrying forward the skills and insights I gained through this internship.
